Gertie Mai Muise

Gertie Mai Muise is a Natural Health Care Practitioner, recognized by the Canadian Health Board.  She studied at the Transformational Arts College in Toronto.  Her study included aromatherapy treatment and massage, hand/feet/head reflexology, body system herbal studies, nutritional symptom assessments and various other massage methods: lymphatic drainage, Swedish and shiatsu.  Her study also involved numerous energetic therapies dealing with the chakra and meridian energy systems and the mind/body relationship. 

She has also studied a Korean holistic health system, Dahn Hak, (study of energy) intensively for two years which is a mix of yoga, meditation and tai chi dealing with the meridian system and chakra channels.

Gertie Mai first learned about energetic and natural healing through the traditional medicine people and healers at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. She is a traditional Mi’Kmaq hand drummer, singer and teacher for 15 years and understands the beauty and natural healing pathways through sound, energy and movement. 

Gertie Mai is also a certified Reiki Master/Teacher.
